Who Am I?

JC is a marketing strategist, operations leader, and creative entrepreneur whose career spans entertainment, consumer products, hospitality, and tech.

With a foundation in the performing arts and a sharp acumen for business, JC has carved a niche at the intersection of storytelling and strategy. He currently works at Disney Experiences, supporting sales and guest operations for the Disney Vacation Club, where he leads logistics for high-impact events and contributes to optimizing guest engagement and operational performance.

Previously, JC served as Sr. Manager of Marketing & Partnerships at Sizzle Popcorn, where his campaigns drove a 112% increase in sales. He also led business development at Execute Productions, generating over $300K in annual revenue through talent management and branded content. Earlier in his career, JC played a key role at INDOCHINO Apparel Inc., where he managed retail operations and developed strategic partnerships to expand market reach.

JC’s early career was rooted in live performance. As a dancer, choreographer, and creative producer, he graced iconic stages including NYC’s Beacon Theatre and LA’s Dolby Theatre. His work earned collaborations with major broadcasters and brands, including FOX, ABC, CTV, and Hudson’s Bay Company. This dual fluency in creative and commercial worlds led him to consult for entertainment startups and gaming brands, advising on marketing, influencer strategy, and brand partnerships.

A dynamic communicator, JC has delivered keynote speeches, facilitated creative workshops in corporate innovation, and led sessions designed to unlock leadership potential and drive bold thinking in organizations. His writing, including his debut book The Creative Contradiction: Spreadsheets, Spotlights, and the Art of Not Choosing, is aimed at inspiring emerging leaders to blend creativity and commerce without compromise.

Academically, JC holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance Dance from Toronto Metropolitan University, a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from Purdue University.
